Sammelband containing the following four ecclesiastical works “and others … in 1 vol.”

  1. Cotton, John. The keyes of the kingdom of heaven, and power thereof, according to the Word of God (London, 1644) ESTC R23263, R19748, or R19722.
  2. Cotton, John. The way of the churches of Christ in New-England, or, The way of churches walking in brotherly equality, or co-ordination, without subjection of one church to another (London, 1645) ESTC R209858 or R222670.
  3. Taylor, Jeremy. A funerall sermon, preached at the obsequies of the right honble and most vertuous lady, the Lady Frances, Countesse of Carbery, who deceased October the 9th. 1650 at her house Golden-Grove in Carmarthen-shire (London, 1650) ESTC R11725.
  4. The government of the Church of Scotland fully declared : wherein is largely set forth the order and uniformitie to be observed in the realme of Scotland, concerning doctrine, administrations of the sacraments, election of ministers, provision for their sustentation, ecclesiasticall discipline and policy of the Church, as it is now practised (London, 1647) ESTC R27388.

Unlocated. It is possible that this text belonged to one of Wolfreston’s sons, Stanford or Francis Wolferstan, given their keener interests in matters ecclesiastical.
